(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 22 - With almost 80,000 fewer tests - typical of Sunday - the positive alcoronaviruses in 24 hours in Italy fall below 10 thousand, but the victims return to the hospital, as well as those hospitalized in intensive care and in departments ordinary.
There are 9,630 positive tests, according to data from the Ministry of Health (yesterday they were 13,452).
The dead are instead 274 (yesterday 232).
170,672 molecular and antigenic performed in the last 24 hours (yesterday they were 250,986).
The positivity rate is 5.6%, yesterday it was 5.4% (so there is an increase of 0.2% in 24 hours).
2,118 people are hospitalized in intensive care for Covid-19, with an increase of 24 units in the daily balance between arrivals and departures.
The daily admissions to intensive care were 162. In the ordinary wards, on the other hand, 18,155 people were hospitalized, an increase of 351 units compared to yesterday.
The currently positive returns to decline after two days of rise and are now 387,903 (-992 compared to yesterday), the healed and remitted 2,334,968 (+10,335), in home isolation there are now 367,630 people (-21,265).
The total cases since the beginning of the epidemic in Italy are 2,818,863, the deaths 95,992.
