The French duo, who won the Grammy Awards "Daft Punk", decided to break up and end their common path.
The members of the popular and veteran electronic band, announced their decision to disband through a video called "Epilogue", taken from their 2006 documentary "Electrum".
The band's spokeswoman, Katherine Presier, confirmed the matter to the Pitchfork website, but did not say what led to the decision.
Thomas Bangleter and Guy Manuel de Homem Christo formed the band in 1993 in Paris.
Over the years, "Daft Punk" became one of the ensembles that designed and defined the French house music of the 90's.
They gained fame with the release of their first album "Homework" in 1997, which included, among other things, the huge hit "Around the World".
Since then, the duo has made sure to release many hits, including "One More Time", and of course "Get Lucky" from 2013.
In recent years they have continued to work and connect the two to names like Kenya West and singer De Weekend, in successful songs like "Starboy" and "I Feel It Coming".
