Apple is moving forward and looking for engineers to work on 6G technology that should be on track in about ten years.
This was revealed by some job advertisements identified by Bloomberg.
The open positions concern those at Apple's offices in Silicon Valley and San Diego, where Cupertino works on the development of wireless technologies and the design of modem chips.
Apple adopted 5G connectivity last year in its iPhones.
In late 2020, the multinational joined an alliance of companies working on standards for 6G and other next-generation cellular technologies. Standards and timelines for 6G are not exactly defined and should allow for data rates that are 100 times faster than 5G.
