The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research extended the period for accepting applications equivalent to non-Syrian university degrees (the first exam session for 2021) for several specializations until the second of next March.
In an announcement to which SANA received a copy, the Ministry stated that the extension includes holders of licenses in architecture, allied medical sciences and health sciences (obstetrics, nursing, biotechnology, hearing and speech specialization, and veterinary medicine) and an assistant in medical, health and veterinary sciences.
The Ministry called on applicants to visit the Measurement and Evaluation Center to take the exam fingerprint and personal photo of them, pointing out that those wishing to view the exam axes, the location of the exam and its details, via the center’s website.
The Ministry of Higher Education conducts a national evaluation examination for the equivalence of non-Syrian degrees, based on the executive instructions of Law No. 19 of 2001, which include the principles of equivalence of non-Syrian degrees, the conditions for recognition of non-Syrian educational institutions, the method of forming the tie committee, and the documents and certificates required for the equivalence.
