To the great surprise of the fans, a recently canceled series is set to return.
In this country, old episodes are still on the Sat.1 channel.
Sat.1
is the German home of many US crime novels.
Series such as “Navy CIS”, “Navy CIS: LA” or “Hawaii Five-0” * usually still find their way into the private broadcaster's program.
Sat.1
also
broadcasts
old episodes of the popular police production
"Criminal Minds"
.
Since 2020 there has been no more replenishment because the American broadcaster CBS ended
“Criminal Minds”
after the 15th season.
A cancellation doesn't always have to mean that a series won't get any new episodes.
For example, the stars of the sitcom “Friends” are supposed to come together for a reunion.
A “Dexter” revival with leading actor Michael C. Hall is also planned.
The “Criminal Minds” makers are following the trend of revived series: They want to continue the crime story and show new episodes on the Paramount Plus streaming service.
"Criminal Minds" gets new episodes: Are the well-known actors there?
The magazine
Variety
is said to have received
details of the planned
“Criminal Minds” revival
from insiders.
Paramount and the production company ABC Signature have not yet confirmed this information.
According to
Varietys
sources, the project is still in its
infancy
anyway.
The only thing that should be certain is that "Criminal Minds" showrunner and producer Erica Messer will return to work on new episodes.
It is not yet known whether the actors from the previous seasons are also on board.
The fans should above all hope for the actors
Matthew Gray Gubler
(Dr. Spencer Reid),
AJ Cook
(Jennifer "JJ" Jareau) and
Kirsten Vangsness
(Penelope Garcia).
The three stars appeared in all existing seasons and are therefore part of the hard core of the series.

expect
a free TV broadcast on
Sat.1
.
