Tadej Pogacar, winner of the 2020 Tour de France, is the ruler of the 3rd stage of the 3rd edition of the cycling UAE Tour, the only race on the World Tour circuit to be held in the Middle East this year. The Slovenian, who today consolidated his leadership in the general classification of the Emirate race, won on the top of Jebel Hafeet, after a 10-kilometer climb, ahead of the English Adam Yates, second, and the Colombian Sergio Higuita, third.
Pogacar - who also competes with the colors of the UAE Emitares - now leads the general classification with 43 "ahead of Adam Yates himself and with 1'03" over Portuguese Joao Almeida. First of the Italians is currently Damiano Caruso, seventh, with a delay of 2'38 "from the top.
