(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 23 - The circular of the Ministry of Health has been published which raises the age of Chips from 55 to 65 years to receive the AstraZeneca anti-Covid vaccine.
The decision was made after the opinion of the Commission of the Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) and, as the circular points out, comes "from new scientific evidence that reports vaccine efficacy estimates higher than those previously reported".
