There have been rumors for a long time, now Shailene Woodley has made it official: The actress and American football player Aaron Rodgers want to get married: "Yes, we are engaged," said the 29-year-old on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon «.
The couple apparently took their time after the engagement before making them public: “It's kind of weird.
Everyone is freaking out about it at the moment and we say, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while,' ”said Woodley, best known for her roles in Fate's a Lousy Traitor and Big Little Lies.
Rodgers is very successful as quarterback for the Green Bay Packers - but that apparently only impresses his future wife to a limited extent: The 37-year-old is a “wonderful, incredible person,” said Woodley, then added, “I never thought I would would be engaged to someone who makes a living throwing balls. "
She has never seen her fiancé's game at the stadium, Woodley said.
However, this is apparently not only due to their lack of interest, but above all to the restrictions caused by the corona pandemic.
When she met Rodgers, she knew he was a football player, but had little idea about his career.

In January it was announced that Rodgers would be a guest host for the show.
