Fda, 'strong protection from Johnson & Johnson vaccine'

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, February 24 - The Johnson & Johnson single-dose Covid vaccine provides strong protection against the virus and can reduce contagion from vaccinated people. The Food and Drug Administration states this in a new analysis posted online and reported by the American media. The vaccine was 72% effective in the US and 64% in South Africa.

    The United States is set to distribute 3 to 4 million doses of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine next week, it was announced during a briefing by the White House anti-Covid task force. (HANDLE).
