Should the employer pay for meals for his employees when they are teleworking?
The question is debated in some companies where employees forced to stay at home have been deprived of meal vouchers.

This is particularly the case in Loire-Atlantique, with professional firefighters from the departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS).
“Meal vouchers have been removed from all teleworking staff, except on days when they return to the site,”

At Agrica too, management has backed down.
Last March, the complementary social protection group dedicated to the agricultural world decided to abolish meal vouchers for employees at its sites in the region in order to respect fairness with those working in Paris, and whose canteen was closed due to the health crisis.
An incomprehensible decision for the CFDT section of the group, which obtained the restoration of this advantage.
