The Minister of Health announced the establishment of containment on weekends in the agglomeration of Dunkirk, in the grip of an outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic fueled by the British variant.
The Minister of Health spoke after visiting the Dunkirk Hospital Center and meeting local elected officials and the regional prefect.

"Travel will remain possible for certain reasons such as essential purchases or even medical reasons, you know these reasons, and businesses other than food businesses will be closed," said the minister. This measure will apply to Dunkirk "and in the Hauts de Flandre community of communes, which represents approximately 250,000 inhabitants".
