A court in Vienna has sentenced a former football coach to six years in prison for abusing minors.
The 67-year-old was found guilty of sexually abusing five boys between 1989 and 2005, sometimes for years.
Although he had confessed to the deeds, he had shown no understanding.
He was always convinced that he had not harmed the boy, the man said.
Specialists had found serious psychological consequences in three of those affected - now 28, 36 and 44 years old - which could be equated with serious physical harm.
The verdict is not yet legally binding.
The man announced that he would appeal.
