(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 25 - Luigi Federico Signorini, current Deputy General Manager, has been appointed general manager of the Bank of Italy to replace Daniele Franco, appointed Economy Minister of the Draghi government. The appointment was made, as required by the Statute, by the Superior Council of the central institute on the proposal of the governor IgnazioVisco. The appointment must now be approved by decree of the President of the Republic, promoted by the President of the Council of Ministers in agreement with the Minister of Economy and Finance, after consultation with the Council of Ministers.
