(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, FEB 25 - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the federal agency that oversees civil aviation, has imposed a fine of 6.6 million dollars on Boeing for various safety deficiencies, of which 5.4 million for not having implemented certain conditions foreseen in an agreement of '15. The FAA complained to the US company, under the spotlight for the '777' engine problems, of having exerted excessive pressure on its inspectors at a plant in South Carolina, in particular in the control of a Boeing 787 'Dreamliner' in February 2020 .
