murdered Guadalupe Curual with a knife, he spoke with his best friend, Lucía Navarro, and told her what he was going to do.

told me that he was going to kill her
, he told me about everything he was going to do. I sent a message to Guadalupe to call me urgently as soon as he arrived, because she was in Traful with this boy with him. who were getting to know each other. She called me around 9:30 as soon as she entered La Angostura, she was at the YPF, and

From that moment on, Lucia began a fruitless race to save her friend.
It did not succeed.
Today she breaks down in tears when she remembers the dreams they shared together.
Two young people in their early 20s, with young children for whom they were fully responsible,
wanting to start over under the shadow of two violent men.

They had been together for several days, they had become friends. They were very crazy. I don't know if they were having something or what. They both gave each other handles and sent us messages saying that they were going to kill us. Guadalupe and me, "says the young woman.
"They were both crazy, but he (Bautista) was very crazy, all nervous.
He did not want Guadalupe to be with anyone.
Neither of them wanted us to be with another person," he says.
Days ago, Quintriqueo sent a message to Lucía.
The young woman regularly took care of Guadalupe's daughter, so her friend's ex had access to her cell phone.
Guadalupe had it blocked.
And he had denounced him three times in the last year for gender violence.
He couldn't get close to her - he had a perimeter set up by Justice - but he did it all the time.
In fact, at the end of January, Quintriqueo went to Guadalupe's house and confronted her when she was leaving with the girl in a cart.
He insulted her, threw her to the ground and hit her.

Neighbors posted repudiation posters at the prosecutor's office.
"I know she's with a soldier and you know everything, she told me. I replied: You sorted out your things and she can go out with whoever she wants," says Lucía.
But the young woman left the talk at that point.
"I knew it could get violent," he
recalls.
On the day of the femicide, Quintriqueo went to their house around 2:00 p.m. and
warned Lucía that he would kill her friend.
Mellado had also threatened Lucia for years.
"
I have been suffering death threats for years
. I did not give them a ball anymore. But it has been 3 years with threats and a girl in charge, alone," he explains.
"
Now I made the complaint of gender violence at the police station in my neighborhood. They
gave me a panic button," he details.
Mellado was "on the run" for a day after Guadalupe's murder.
Although he is not charged with any crime, Lucia's complaints place him in a complicated criminal place.
If he knew precisely how Quintriqueo was going to kill Guadalupe and if they planned it together, these are questions that the Neuquén Justice could begin to ask, indicate different local sources.
Guadalupe Curual was 21 years old and had denounced the man three times.

"She was meeting this boy who is a policeman and said that he was a good kid and that he was hooked. A straight boy.
She loved him,
" says Lucia.
At the end of January, Quintriqueo went to Guadalupe's house and confronted her when she was leaving with the baby in a cart.
He insulted her, threw her to the ground and hit her.
On Tuesday, around 10 p.m., Guadalupe was in her vehicle with the young man and his daughter.
They had just arrived from Traful.
Quintriqueo was following them in another vehicle.
When they parked in the volunteer fire department, his ex came over and had an argument with him first and then attacked him with the knife.
He injured him in the arms, chest and eye.
He is in the Zonal Hospital of Bariloche because he could lose the vision of one of his eyes and some fingers, he said.
Guadalupe ran in an attempt to divert attention from Quintriqueo and save her partner and daughter.
At
150 meters he reached her and murdered her.
"We planned to collect money and travel, go to Villa Llanquin, where the father is, and we were going to leave at 4. And
tomorrow we are going to bury her in that same place,
" says Lucía, and tears and pain break her story in a thousand pieces.
