The Goncourt Philippe Jaccottet Prize is dead

(ANSA) - ROME, 25 FEB - Philippe Jaccottet, poet, translator and literary critic, winner of the Goncourt Prize for Poetry in 2003

died.

Jaccottet, Swiss, was 95 years old.

This was announced by his son at AFP and the Italian publishing house Marcos Y Marcos, which has many of his titles in the catalog and who on March 17, 2021 will publish 'Walk under the trees', an unpublished work in Italy included in Gallimard's Pleiade.
