The difference arises from the information published by the Presidency through the Public Vaccination Monitor and the data provided by the Government of Buenos Aires on its website.

The Government of the province of Buenos Aires affirms that so far it has applied

145,000 more doses

of the coronavirus vaccines than those reported by the Nation through the brand new Public Vaccination Monitor (MPV).

The data arise from the information that the Presidency returns on the monitor that the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, launched this Wednesday, and that which the Buenos Aires Government publicly shows in its "

situation room

".

According to the official information published by the Government of Axel Kicillof,

420,603 doses were applied until Thursday

.

In detail it is reported that 315,022 people received the first dose and that 105,581 have already completed the immunization.

These numbers contrast with those that appear in the MVP, whose data show that 274,613 were applied on Buenos Aires soil (167,578 with the first dose and 107,035 already have both).

The data updated by the Buenos Aires Government.

Sources of the Ministry of Health of the Province consulted by

Clarín

specified that the Nation has "

problems with the load

" and insisted that the updated data are those published on its public board, which allows to see the disaggregation by municipalities.

For its part, the national health portfolio warned that the MVP is in the hands of the Presidency.

As reported, the data uploaded to the Monitor has as its main source of information the National Health Surveillance System (SNVS).

Meanwhile, the data on the pandemic immunization strategy come from the Federal Register of Nominal Vaccination (Nomivac), which is part of the Argentine Integrated Health Information System (SISA).

The Public Vaccination Monitor.

The data released in the MVP also show differences with the amount of doses that the Government assures that it distributed.

Is that, according to official information, the Government has received 1,800,000 doses so far, but the MVP specifies that 1,720,115 were distributed.

They are, according to official data, 79,885 doses of difference.

That difference of almost 80,000 doses triggered criticism from the opposition.

The national deputy and president of the UCR, Alfredo Cornejo wondered "where did these vaccines go?"

Alfredo Cornejo during an interview with Clarín.

"According to the announcements made by the government itself, to date they constitute a total of 1,800,000; however, when entering the 'Public Vaccine Monitor' launched by the executive branch, it is verified in 'DISTRIBUTED DOSES' that they are a total of 1,720,115. With this we see that there is then a difference of 79,885 vaccines that have entered but are not distributed. We wonder then where they were, "he said.

The information released by the Government indicated that 1,220,000 million doses of Sputnik V and 580,000 of the Covishield vaccine have reached the country so far.
