A 49-year-old is said to have deliberately hit a paramedic with his car in Duisburg.

According to the police, the Duisburg resident first opened the door of the ambulance and asked the crew to move the car aside because it was in the way.

Because of the current mission, the rescue workers refused to do so.

The police said on Thursday that they were badly insulted with swear words.

When the rescue workers called the police, the aggressive man got into his car, reportedly drove towards a paramedic and drove to him.

The 37-year-old was injured.

Officials secured the 49-year-old's driver's license and wrote a complaint for dangerous interference with road traffic.
