Austria negotiates with Russia over Sputnik vaccine

(ANSA) - MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 26 - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz had a telephone conversation during which they discussed "the possibility of Russia supplying Austria with the Sputnik V vaccine" against Covid.

This was announced in a press release from the Cremlin, adding that the two leaders also spoke of the possibility of starting "a joint production" of the same vaccine.
