The general average notification rate, based on data collected from the 30 EU countries and the European Economic Area, reached 283 per 100,000 inhabitants, marking a decline that has lasted for 5 weeks.

Regarding hospitalizations and intensive care, data from 23 countries collected in the last week show a new hospitalization rate of 9.1 patients per 100,000 population, and 2.6 admissions to intensive care in 14 countries.

The occupancy rate of hospital and intensive care beds is high, at least 25%, or has increased in 26 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary , Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden).

Mortality increased in the Czech Republic, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, while it is stable or decreasing in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta , Holland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
