Taifun-Tofu GmbH has published a recall on a vegan product.
Because of a pasteurization error, it could spoil faster than advertised.
Freiburg - The manufacturer Taifun-Tofu GmbH warns "for consumer protection reasons" against the consumption of a vegan fried fillet.
The company published a corresponding letter on its own website taifun-tofu.de.
Specifically, it is about the "pizza-pizza fillet 160 grams".
A mistake in the pasteurization of the fillet could result in a shorter shelf life and early perishability.
The main problem is apparently a gap in the documentation, due to which it can be assumed that the best before date on the packaging may be incorrect.
The gap became known as part of a quality control.
"The product does not pose any direct health risk," the letter says.
Other products of the Taifun or Tukan brands are also not affected.
