A "
fire on a train
" of the RER A at the quay in Cergy-Saint-Christophe (Val d'Oise) took place on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
It required the intervention of firefighters and disrupted the traffic of this line as well as of the L line of the Transilien, according to the SNCF and the firefighters.

A spokesperson for the SNCF
told
AFP on Friday evening "
a marginal who dropped a lit cigarette in a bag, which started the fire
".
The fire caught on part of the train and required the intervention of the firefighters.

The train being at the quay, we quickly evacuated the travelers as well as the station as a precaution
".
For their part, the firefighters of Val d'Oise confirm the evacuation of the station
"the time to extinguish the fire
" and mentioned "
four minor injuries
".
