Two other Aerolineas Argentinas flights will depart this Friday night from Ezeiza airport to Moscow with the aim of bringing to the country a new shipment of the Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus.
According to official sources informed
Clarín
, the number of doses that will arrive is not yet confirmed, although they estimate that they will be
"just over a million"
, which would be the largest shipment since the start of the vaccination operation against the covid pandemic -19.
The aircraft are scheduled to take off
at
9:00 p.m.
and 10:00 p.m.
, as confirmed to this newspaper by the state airline.
And, as in previous operations of this type, they would remain on Russian soil only the time necessary to complete the cargo operation and would return to the country, possibly on Sunday.
Official sources explained that in these shipments, the Sputnik V will be packed in such a way that they will take up less space than in previous shipments, which will increase the cargo capacity of each aircraft.
