Former US Olympic women's gymnastics coach John Geddert has committed suicide.
His body was found hours after he was indicted for human trafficking and sexual abuse of various
underage athletes.
The news was released by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, who had announced the allegations.

tragic end to a tragic story
for everyone involved,
" he said.
Geddert was indicted for human trafficking from 2008 to 2018, sexual abuse of several dozen minors in 2012, organized crime and other lesser crimes. The allegations were announced by prosecutor Nessel. Geddert
owned, and coached, a gym where former team doctor and friend Lawrence Nassar sexually assaulted gymnasts
, for which the doctor has already been convicted. Geddert led the US women's gymnastics team at the 2012 Olympics.
