Fler should go to jail - at least if the Berlin public prosecutor has its way.
Since she does not see a positive prognosis, a suspended sentence for the rapper is out of the question, said the prosecutor in her plea to conclude the case against the hip-hop musician.
Because of a series of criminal offenses, the 38-year-old with the real name of Patrick Losensky was imprisoned for one year and ten months without parole.
Fines and suspended sentences imposed in the past did not prevent Fler from insulting people in his vicinity, the prosecutor said and also applied for a driver's license ban of two and a half years.

Losensky is accused of a number of offenses: He is said to have insulted several police officers, a neighbor, a lawyer and an influencer.
He is also charged with driving without a license, attempted coercion of a journalist, and prohibited communications from legal proceedings.
Fler's defense attorney called for a suspended sentence of seven months.
Since the rapper left the court in a rage at a trial in late January, the trial against him has continued in his absence.
Fler couldn't get his lawyer back either.
Originally, Fler had been charged with other offenses.
However, some charges were severed.
The verdict, which is now expected for March 3, is no longer about the alleged insult to the rapper Bushido.
Fler is said to have called this a "bastard" and "disgusting dog" on the Internet.
