Eduardo Vázquez, the former Callejeros drummer sentenced to life for the femicide of Wanda Taddei, was authorized to leave prison this Saturday to participate in the celebration of his daughter's 15 years.
Jorge Taddei, father of the victim, was surprised by the measure.

. These are the paradoxes of life: I also have to bear in mind that you have to re-link them with society, but my daughter is underground," he lamented on Wednesday, hours after the benefit granted by judge Axel López was revealed.

This Friday, hours before the musician left Ezeiza jail, it was his own daughter who gave details of the meeting authorized by Justice.
"I am Valentina Vázquez, daughter of Eduardo Vázquez and Gabriel Bora.
I have always been linked with my father and I travel twice a year to visit him
, since I live far away. This year it coincides with my 15 and the judge
granted me the right to spend it with him
, letting him leave the prison where he is serving his sentence, since due to the pandemic it is not allowed to spend it there, "the teenager explained in a video posted on her Twitter account.
The young woman, who lives in Córdoba, added: "Despite everything that happened,
I continue to choose him and I will always choose him as my father
."
Wanda Taddei died after being doused with alcohol and set on fire.
Wanda's crime occurred in the early morning of February 10, 2010, at Pizarro 7083, Mataderos.

with a lighter.
Wanda - the mother of two children from a previous couple - agonized for 11 days, with 60% of her body severely burned.
He finally died on February 21.

The expert reports ruled out the hypothesis raised by Vázquez, who six years earlier had been involved in the
Cromañón tragedy
.
In a first trial, he was sentenced to 18 in prison, but in 2013 the Federal Criminal Cassation Chamber ruled in favor of an appeal filed by the victim's family and sentenced him to life.
