Today, about 1500 students took the unified national examination in pharmacy “February 2021 session” conducted by the Center for Measurement and Evaluation in Higher Education and Scientific Research for students of “governmental and private” Syrian universities and non-Syrian universities.

According to the director general of the center, Dr. Maysoon Dashash, the applicants were distributed to SANA on six examination centers within the universities of “Damascus, Aleppo, Tishreen, Al-Baath, Hama and Tartous” in addition to the access centers outside Syria in “Germany, Dubai, Cairo and Amman”.

Deshash pointed out that the exam included one hundred and twenty questions that were in line with the academic reference standards - the NARS - and dealt with the axes - pharmacology, toxicology, dosage forms, quality control, drug chemistry, analytical technologies, professional ethics, botanical medicines, clinical biological parameters and microbiology.

The student’s success in the standardized examination and obtaining a mark of fifty percent is a condition for graduation and obtaining a score of sixty percent, a condition for applying to the differential studies.
