'Act Quickly'. Minister's road map convinces the parties (ANSA)

Andrea Orlando has impressed his figures by starting the work on the reform of shock absorbers with the social partners.

The method focuses on the speed of confrontation and on the merits it welcomes the objective of launching a "universalistic system" for the expansion of social protection, in "strong interaction" with the strengthening of active labor policies, and supported by "significant industrial policy ", vertical and selective, with the injection of public resources.

And collect consent.

The new Minister of Labor seems to have displaced trade unions and business associations which, after framing the table meeting as merely technical, and still far from the crucial issues, in many cases presented themselves not with the leaders but with second lines or even only officials.

On the other side of the table, however, there was no lack of the presence of the minister who gave a strong political value to the meeting by setting the comparison and confirming a fast-paced 'road map', in four steps, with the second appointment already announced for next week.

On the first round the theme was that of simplifications for the activation of the Cig: if there is an agreement they can be put in place "already in the coming weeks without waiting for the conclusion of the overall discussion" on the reforms, Orlando accelerated.

Thus, the first moves to cancel delays and late payments that have weighed on the Covid cash register could come very close, even with the next Ristori decree.

The next meeting will focus on the perimeter of the social safety nets tools.

Then, and it will not be easy to solve, the problem of cost sharing will be tackled.

And a fourth and final stage of the investigation will be on the methods of managing the instruments identified in the meantime.
