Lovechoc BV has published a product recall: A value was measured in a chocolate product that exceeded the maximum permitted limit.
Amsterdam - The Dutch chocolate manufacturer Lovechoc BV has published a product recall in cooperation with Genuport Trade GmbH.
“Lovechock BV products are manufactured under strict quality guarantees.
Lovechock stands for high quality and we are very sorry to have to inform you about an imperfection in one of our products ”, the manufacturer apologizes to all concerned.
The reason for the recall is an increased value in a chocolate.
The product "Little Love Dark Vanilla 65g" is shown as vegan.
But it exceeds the maximum amount of casein allowed to be labeled as dairy-free on the package.
That was noticed during a sample.

Casein, which is also called casein, is a milk protein.
Consumption of the product can cause allergic reactions or intolerance in people with milk protein intolerance.
For example, itchy skin rashes and swelling, breathing difficulties and digestive disorders - for example abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Recall: Only one batch of chocolate affected
Products with the best before date July 6, 2021 are specifically affected by the recall. The packs also bear the batch number 200706DV.
According to the manufacturer, those affected who have purchased the product should bring it back to the shop where they purchased it.
Alternatively, there is the option of sending the chocolate to the following address: Genuport Trade GmbH, Gutenbergring 60, Qualität, 22848 Norderstedt.
In both cases, customers receive a refund or a replacement.
The product recall expressly states that all other Little Love products and the affected product from the other batches can be safely consumed.
