(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 27 - "Dear son, we are destroyed by pain but we must be strong to be close to Zakia and his 3 beautiful granddaughters".

This is the message from Luca Attanasio's parents, read by a friend at the end of the public funeral in Limbiate, the town in the province of Monza and Brianza where the ambassador killed in Congo grew up.
