Covid: 17,455 new positives, 192 deaths. In 24 hours 257,024 tests, the rate rises to 6.8%

There are 17,455 positive tests for coronavirus registered in Italy in 24 hours

, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

On Saturday the positives were 18,916.

The victims are 192, down from 280 the day before.

257,024 tests were carried out (molecular and antigenic), down from 323,047 yesterday.

The positivity rate is 6.8%, up from 5.8% on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the new Dpcm on the measures for containing the covid should be defined between next Monday and Tuesday

This is what government sources interviewed in this regard underline.

Before the signing of Prime Minister Mario Draghi of the new presidential decree, there could be other technical meetings to complete some steps that will allow to close the package of new rules.

And the conference of the Regions, according to what is learned, sent on Saturday the opinion defined as "interlocutory" to the Dpcm that the government is planning to issue.

On the part of the Regions, it is therefore explained, no stakes or reasons have emerged that would prevent the go-ahead for the text.
