The political echelon today (Sunday) approved a vaccination campaign for Palestinian workers holding an employment license in Israel, with the aim of maintaining public health and the functioning of the economy.

The move was approved as part of the fight against the spread of the corona virus and in accordance with the recommendation of the Coordinator of Government Operations in the Occupied Territories and the professional echelon in the Ministry of Health.

The operation, led by the IDF, the Central Command, the Ministry of Health and the Transit Authority, will begin in the coming days, and will include the establishment of dedicated vaccination complexes in several crossings in Judea and Samaria to vaccinate workers in Israel, as well as additional settlements vaccinated in industrial areas throughout Judea and Samaria.

In these complexes, the workers will be vaccinated by Israeli medical teams with modern vaccines, which have been assigned by the political echelon. The full outline will be published in the coming days.
