An Android developer reveals the updates to the operating system in a Google blog.
Users: inside expect innovations in passwords, usability and Android Auto
Munich - Only last December, Android surprised its users with innovations in the operating system.
Now the company is stepping up.
As Android developer Hideaki Oshima announced this week, fans can look forward to a total of five updates.
The innovations are intended to make mobile devices “safer and more convenient”, as Oshima emphasizes in his Google blog.
Chip.

Android updates are designed to protect passwords from theft
The first update concerns the security of the saved passwords.
As Android developer Oshima explains in his blog entry, users should be warned of the theft of their access data.
To do this, the company compares the users' passwords with a “list” of access data that have been stolen or published.
If an Android user uses a password that is on the "list" of stolen codes, the company warns and advises them to change the password.

Android wants to improve user-friendliness with innovations
However, Android users are not only expecting changes in the future when it comes to security.
As Hideaki Oshima writes, the "Google Assistant" is supposed to help you use your cell phone without holding it in your hands.
Voice control makes it possible.
The “TalkBack” function has also been upgraded.
The application helps people with poor eyesight to operate their mobile phones using voice control and gestures.
Apple showed the way, and now Android is following suit.
The US company surprised its users: some time ago with the “dark mode” inside, Android is now giving the Google Maps app a dark tinted appearance.
Update gives Android Auto and “Google Messages” app new functions
As Hideaki Oshima announced in his Google blog, the new update allows voice-based games to be started while driving.
The screen in the car on which the application runs can also be changed to suit your own taste in the future.
With the upcoming update, users should also be able to plan messages in advance with “Google Messages”.
Operating systems from Android 7 are required for this function, according to Oshima in his Google blog.
Despite the innovations, Android is still left out of the absolute trend app.
The “Clubhouse” talk application is currently only available for Apple users.
