In the part of this Monday, slightly more than 30 thousand tests carried out were reported, for which they already total 7,466,942.
The report was known shortly before the arrival in the country of the second plane in which a new batch of Sputnik V vaccines against the coronavirus was flown from Russia.
On Sunday, 517 thousand vaccines arrived and, according to official sources, the total shipment will be 1.2 million.
This is the largest shipment received to date.
From the portfolio now directed by Carla Vizzotti, it was reported that this new batch will be used for the vaccination of health personnel and those over 70 years of age.
Meanwhile, it was indicated that "with the million doses received from Sinopharm, according to the criteria of each province, the vaccination of initial, special, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade teachers will begin."
Meanwhile, in his speech at the opening of legislative sessions, President Alberto Fernández made mention of the vip vaccination scandal.
Without naming the former Minister of Health Ginés González García, the mandario spoke about immunization to officials, family members, spokespersons and journalists: "In this vaccination plan there are very clear priorities and the rules must be followed.
If mistakes are made, the will of this President is to recognize and correct them immediately
. When it was said that those rules had been violated, I have been in charge of gathering the pertinent information, even when personally they caused me a lot of pain, I made the corresponding decisions. "
"No Government on Earth can claim the privilege of not making mistakes, but every sensible Government does have the obligation to correct mistakes to banish any hint of privilege and lack of solidarity," he added.
