(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 01 - "The entertainment workers must rest assured, the possibility of reopening from March 27 does not affect the refreshments".

Culture Minister DarioFranceschini reassures the sector from Radio Non Stop News on Rtl 102.5.

"Also this year we will disburse the single fund for the show regardless of the raising of the curtain and we will continue to give refreshments and support the sector even with limited openings", says interviewed by Pierluigi Diaco.

Cinema and theater, Franceschini points out, "have long asked to reopen. But these are realities with different needs, even with respect to the reopening. For cinema, for example, there is a question of product to be considered. This is why in the dpcm that we will probably already sign today the hypothesis is to allow and certainly not to oblige the reopening starting from that date ".

Naturally in the white or yellow area, he adds, ecompatibly with the trend of the emergency: "We have no magic wand".

As for the timetables, the minister specifies, "It is clear that they will be limited, as well as the places. If there is a curfew, it must be respected. Then gradually we will adapt. It will however be symbolic, a bit like it was with the libraries in full that we wanted to keep open ".

The same for the museums: "they will also open on weekends but only upon reservation to prevent gatherings".

It is true that culture is unfortunately closed and it is true, he remembers, "that I too have asked that Italy be the first to reopen. But it is always necessary to evaluate the context. At the moment, in all of Europe it is like this, with the sole exception of Spain. ".

So on the subject of workers: "Culture and tourism are among the sectors that have paid the most and will recover more slowly. In these long months, however, we have allocated 2 billion in funds, introduced measures that did not exist such as layoffs, support funds for seasonal workers and temporary workers. We will continue to do it - he concludes - we will support the sector as long as there is an emergency, even with limited reopening ".
