(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 01 - "I can't even imagine how it could have been for her to do this journey alone. Because for us it was extremely hard but at least we had each other".

Prince Harry says this in an interview with OprahWinfrey together with his wife Meghan Markle, talking about her mother Diana and the process that led her to step back from the British royal family.

"I am happy and I feel relieved to be able to be here to talk to my wife at my side", says the Duke of Sussex in the excerpts of the interview that the American network CBS aired to publicize the event of 7 March.

In the clips of a few seconds Meghan does not intervene but Oprah's 'heavy' questions are heard to which she will presumably answer during the program such as whether "she remained silent or was silenced" or if there was a "breaking point".

"My biggest concern was that history could repeat itself", confesses again the second son of Carlo and Dianapartlando of his mother.

In the 30-second clip that aired in the US last night, Harry and his wife are sitting outside in a garden facing the popular host.

Meghan, pregnant with her second child, wears a long black dress with long sleeves, Harry's white shirt and light gray suit, without a tie.
