The song "Until It Comes" was written and composed by Kobi Aflalo half a year before we heard about the Corona, but every sentence in it describes well our reality in the last year and the hope that this difficult period will end.

Now Aflalo is releasing the song, accompanied by a clip consisting of more than a hundred photos and videos submitted by 30 photographers from all over the country.

The photos and videos document landscapes, people and exciting, sad and happy moments of Israel in the days of the Corona.

The clip was directed by Noam Gershler and Oren Gabay.

"This song was written half a year before the Corona, and it expresses hope that the light will come and that humanity will rise above itself and understand how to get along, because it seems to me that they can not get along and unite here. Everyone is sure he is right. wrong?'

"Then came the corona, and it just intensified. It means open, it means close. I realized it's a good time for the song to get its light, because it's really a soundtrack of the period. I admit I broke my head whether to release a song at a time like this. "For 15 years, I've gotten to the point where if I don't have performances - I have no purpose. I understand that standing out online is an important part of connecting with the audience, but that's not the point in my eyes."

Have you done filmed shows or yard shows in the past year?

"Yeah. I did zoom shows and also small yard shows. The zoom shows were weird. There were some that were really hallucinatory. Suddenly someone goes into the shower and puts cream on their face, or people sit in bed and eat bamba. It's weird to Allah," he laughs.

"Yard shows are something else, these are intimate shows in people's yards, it's really cute and kind of got me back to the starting point. Almost every artist has the starting point of his journey, which started in the little places. It got me back there."

Are you already getting ready to return to the stage?

"Yes. This month I have performances at Zappa Herzliya and Zappa Haifa, even though we put on a show for June at Amfi Shoni. But I admit I do not know what this experience will be like. How many audiences will there be? What restrictions will there be? So yes, I have scheduled performances, but I really do not know how "I will be with them. I am already vaccinated, and I do not know what it will be like to stand on a stage in front of 250 people sitting with masks, when I do not see their facial expressions, if they sing with me at all. On the other hand, it is better than nothing."

Your wife is also a woman of culture, a dancer.

How have you been doing in the last year?

"The mood at home rises and falls on how the zoom. Whether it gets stuck or not. Emily teaches dance and she is also a coacher, and everything went to zoom. Our daughter is 4 and a half, it's not easy. I had a few falls this year, days when I did not understand "What is my purpose and why do I exist? What do artists have to do in a world without a gathering? But get out of it."
