At the heart of the affair that made headlines in 2015, the hepatitis B vaccine given from 2011 to 2015 to about 428,000 infants in Israel, without being approved for use in any Western country before Israel, according to the claims.
Worse, it was alleged, the vaccine was experimental and defective and was given without the informed consent of the parents whose children had received it.

Griner told us that she decided to "get into a brawl" on the issue just now, since she was exposed to this information just a few days ago, and could not believe her ears.

The rage that the discovery provoked in her was so powerful, she told us, that she decided not to remain silent and shouted the cry of all the parents and children that there was a chance that they were part of this medical scandal.
"It's unbelievable, the bond of silence that surrounds it and some are trying to hide from the public," she told us, "no one addresses it in the media either, but I will not keep quiet."

To all those who attacked her for what they see as hypocrisy due to her support for corona vaccines, Griner sought to emphasize the difference.
According to her, the corona vaccines did not hide from the beginning that this was something experimental.

In the case of the hepatitis vaccine, she reiterates, they did not get the parents' consent to use an experimental vaccine and they did not know it was such.
Griner went on to state once again that she would not remain silent until something was done on the subject, and encouraged her followers and the public to break the silence and flood this issue as much as possible.
A Ministry of Health spokeswoman said in response:
"As for the hepatitis B vaccine called SCI-BV, it is an effective and safe and not 'defective' vaccine given in Israel according to the guidelines in the vaccination manual to date. The above vaccine met all the registration conditions like any vaccine and any drug given in the state of Israel.
"Approval by the FDA (a source in the United States) is not a mandatory condition for registering a vaccine in Israel.
In 2015, cracks were discovered in some of the vials, in a certain batch. These vials were banned as a precautionary measure."
