(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 01 - Prices in trend growth for the second consecutive month: in February - Istat notes - according to preliminary estimates, the national consumer price index for the entire community (NIC), gross of tobacco , recorded an increase of 0.1% on a monthly basis and of 0.6% annual basis (from + 0.4% in January).
"Core inflation", net of energy and fresh food and that net of energy goods only, both rose from + 0.8% to + 1% and + 0.9% respectively. + 0.7% for the general index and + 0.4% for the core component. (HANDLE).
