To help it improve its moderation policy and the protection of its users, TikTok Europe has decided to turn to experts.
The social network announced on Tuesday the establishment of a "European Security Advisory Committee", made up of nine members of civil society.

The latter, coming from Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Finland or France, work on the themes of cyberstalking, online sexual violence, radicalization, family abuse and mental health. .
Among them are the French Justine Atlan, director of e-Enfance.
Founded in 2005 and recognized as being of public utility, this association aims to protect minors on the internet by supporting victims of cyberstalking through a crisis line.
“Other experts will join the committee later this year,”
explains Julie de Bailliencourt, director of content policy at TikTok Europe.
