"I am your mother!" This is how the old woman from the Chevalier clan revealed to the young heiress towards the end.

The grandmother made herself a mother through a reproductive medicine horror intervention in order to secure power in the chocolate company.

One of many daring psycho-twists in the murder mystery from the Zurich upper class - but which worked thanks to the strong script and the strong actresses.

In our review we wrote: »The new Zurich› crime scene ‹is developing into a TV area where as little testosterone is sprayed as in any other.

Already in the first episode in October about the punk protests of the eighties, the nefarious head of the homicide squad was removed from the team in a relatively brutal manner, now all important tasks are in female hands.

Nevertheless, there can be no question of feminist land consolidation, for the female figures - both investigators and suspects - are drawn far too ambivalent or too badly.

They are not good for agitation. «We gave 8 out of 10 points.

How did you like the crime thriller?

“Chocolate bars” was the second case of the new Zurich team of investigators around Anna Pieri Zuercher (Isabelle Grandjean) and Carol Schuler (Tessa Ott).

It was filmed directly after the first case in 2019.

In the future, two episodes will probably always be produced in a row.

The next two »crime scenes« from Switzerland are currently being produced.

A special feature of the shooting of the Zurich »crime scenes« three and four: there are supposedly just as many women as men in front of the camera.

The relationship between the sexes should also be almost balanced on the film team.

Christine Repond is the director of both productions. In 2011 she presented a highly acclaimed skindhead drama with »Silberwald«.

The first of the two crime thrillers directed by Repond is about the Zurich art scene.

The broadcast is scheduled for the end of 2021.
