Bars are closed, partying at home is too noticeable - it had to be a different place: This is what a group of young adults in Lübeck thought when they broke open a gazebo to host a corona party.
As the police announced, witnesses had reported a group of people late on Saturday evening who were in an allotment garden in the St. Jürgen district.
When the emergency services arrived there shortly after 11 p.m., they said they found two women and seven men celebrating in a gazebo.
The people were between 19 and 26 years old and would have sat close together without mouth and nose protection, it said.
The police also found signs of a break in at the gate to the parcel and on the arbor door.
Proceedings were initiated against all persons found because of the violation of the Infection Protection Act and the suspicion of burglary.
