(ANSA) - BAGDAD, 03 MAR - Today at least ten rockets hit a military base hosting US troops in western Iraq: Iraqi and western security sources have announced this.
The attack comes two days after Pope Francis' historic visit to the country.
"The Iraqi security forces are in charge of the investigation," Colonel Wayne Marotto, American spokesman for the international anti-jihadist coalition, wrote on Twitter.
There is no news for the time being of injuries or victims.
