The prestigious Newsweek magazine published today (Wednesday) the list of the best hospitals in the world, and for the third year in a row ranked the Sheba Medical Center in the top ten.
According to the list, formulated by the information management company Statista, Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer is the tenth best hospital in the world, a decrease of one place from last year - then ranked ninth, and a ranking similar to 2019, then also ranked tenth.

Another Israeli hospital on the list is Ichilov, which is ranked 101st and 200th (without location), a deterioration compared to last year when it was ranked 34th.
The medical center that has been named the best hospital in the world is the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Minnesota in the United States, where the two hospitals in the second and third places are also American - Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland and Massachusetts General Hospital.
In fourth place is the General Hospital of Toronto in Canada, in fifth place is John Hopkins Hospital in Bolitomer from the state of Maryland in the United States, and in sixth place is the University Hospital in Berlin, the first non-North American hospital.
