Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry announced their withdrawal from the front row of the British royal family more than a year ago.

The couple is still following the royal era.

Most recently, Meghan successfully sued a British tabloid for the publication of private letters.

But now, according to a report in the Times, the Duchess is threatened with trouble.

As the newspaper reports, a complaint against Meghan should have been filed within the palace in October 2018, not long after the couple's wedding.

It should be about two personal assistants Meghans.

They accuse her of having built up a lot of pressure.

There is talk of humiliation and tears.

The two would have given up their jobs.

The "Times" also refers to internal e-mails.

Lawyers deny allegations

She was "sad about this latest attack on her person, especially as someone who has experienced bullying himself," Meghan said after the allegations via a spokesman.

When and in what context Meghan herself was said to have been the victim of bullying, however, remained open.

Meghan and Harry's lawyers also accused the Times of being "used" by Buckingham Palace.

It is a "calculated dirt campaign" based "on misleading and harmful false information".

The couple's lawyers see the "distorted, several-year-old" allegations evidently as a diversionary maneuver by the royal family.

It is no coincidence that the allegations arose shortly before Meghan and Harry wanted to speak "openly and honestly about their experiences of the past few years" in an interview.

The couple had recently published excerpts from the conversation with US talker Oprah Winfrey.

Obviously, it is also about the decision of the two to completely withdraw from their duties as members of the British royal family.

"It was incredibly tough for both of us, but at least we had each other," Harry said.

Talk host Winfrey promoted the interview with the words: "You said some pretty shocking things here." What the statements referred to, was not clear from the announcements.

The show will not be broadcast until March 7th (local time) on US television.
