The impressive spacecraft with which the SpaceX company tries to reach the Moon and Mars successfully landed this Wednesday in Texas,

but soon after exploded.

"A magnificent landing,"

commented SpaceX, directed by Elon Musk, in the video that broadcast the test flight live.

However, at the foot of the ship

there were flames that were extinguished by the teams in the place

and a few minutes later the device exploded and was destroyed.

The rocket took off powered by three engines and then turned to fly horizontally.

It reached an altitude of 10 kilometers before beginning its descent vertically.

Already on his return he managed to land in the indicated place, although by the end the fire was observed as little by little it gained prominence.

Once it touched solid ground,

the ship remained standing for a few moments until finally it exploded into the air.

The incident is the third explosion of its kind, although the previous two - the SN8 and SN9 - suffered accidents before landing.

So the team that developed the ship take it as a successful breakthrough.

The tests are taking place in a near-desert area leased by SpaceX in the southern tip of Texas, near Mexico and on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico.

The area is wide enough not to cause damage or casualties.

SpaceX's Starship rocket exploded just minutes after landing.
