Amazon launches a € 500,000 fund in Italy to support female entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at women who want to start their own delivery company.

The group announced it in a note.

The aspiring entrepreneurs will be able to receive up to a maximum of 15,000 euros per company to cover start-up costs.

The fund was launched as part of the initiative under the Delivery Service Partner program. Amazon, it says, will support new entrepreneurs to start their own delivery company by entrusting them with shipments and will provide on-the-job training technologies, benefits and insurance coverage. "As part of our commitment to tackle gender differences and promote equal opportunities, we are really happy to offer this new incentive aimed at women who will enter the program and which represents a concrete opportunity for the growth of female entrepreneurs in Italy. "says Gabriele Sigismondi, Head of Amazon Italia Logistics. "With this fund of 500,000 euros we will offer further support to women entrepreneurs who have always wanted to start their own company and lead a team" (ANSA).
