The prosecutor Silvia Baglivo asked for a life sentence for Nicolas Musi and Gaia Russo, on trial for the murder of little Leonardo,
the woman's son of just 20 months.
For the accusation, on May 23, 2019, it was Musi, the woman's companion, who physically killed the child, for which the prosecutor also asked for 18 months of daytime isolation, but
the behavior of the mother has reinforced the murderous intent of his partner

"Not only did he not do anything to prevent the crime or even to avoid ill-treatment, but he always provided alibis for Musi, he covered him up as long as he could," said prosecutor Baglivo of the woman.
The prosecutor spoke for almost three hours: a precise, meticulous indictment that ended with the request for two life sentences.
