Lombardy 'reinforced orange': schools will remain closed, with all students in dad. Scala: Covid outbreak in the dance, about 50 positives. The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, on the basis of the data and indications of the Control Room, has signed the new ordinances that will go into effect starting from Monday 8 March.

The regions of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto pass in the orange area.

Campania passes into the red zone from Monday 8 March.

The governor of Campania De Luca had already sounded the alarm: 'We are now in the red zone'

LOMBARDY -

"I knew that the measure would be unpopular, but between the popularity and

the need to protect the health of children, young people and families

, I chose the latter".

This was stated by the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, speaking on the program "Mattino Cinque" on Canale 5, commenting on the decision to put the whole region

in a reinforced orange band

from today

, with immediate closure of schools.

"It was not a decision born from my head, but from the evaluation of a series of experts, technicians and scientists who have me to take the measure with the utmost urgency and timeliness - he added -. It emerged that this variant of the virus, which is now in the majority in Lombardy, is particularly aggressive, more rapid in spreading and also affects young people, who until a few months ago were almost unscathed. In Lombardy it has happened on so many occasions that if schools have turned into an important outbreak ".

Starting from midnight, all of Lombardy passed into the reinforced orange zone

.

This was established by an ordinance signed yesterday by the governor Attilio Fontana and valid until next March 14, which provides, among other things, the stop to teaching in presence in all schools of all levels (except nursery schools), the prohibition to use the play areas inside the parks and to go to second homes.

The transition to enhanced orange is linked to the trend of the epidemiological situation which presents conditions of rapid deterioration, with an increasing incidence in all the territories of Lombardy, also in relation to the younger age groups.

PIEDMONT-

- The Piedmont Region implements the latest Dpcm on the subject of Coronavirus

"by strengthening the orange with the measures provided for the school"

, or distance learning also for nursery and primary schools, "in 20 districts out of 38".

Thus the governor

Alberto Cirio

, on the sidelines of the Asti stage of the roadshow on the programming of European funds.

"These are painful measures, which we would like to avoid - he adds - for this reason we are doing a meticulous job, applying the parameters of the Dpcm district by district".

The regional offices are working to finalize the list with the indication of all the municipalities and related provisions.

"The president Cirio on schools, for Turin should confirm

the Dad from the second grade

upwards

,

remaining in the presence of elementary and sixth grade".

Thus the mayor Chiara Appendino

in the direct Facebook in which she answers citizens' questions.

The Piedmontese capital should therefore not be included among the 20 strengthened orange areas, out of the 38 into which Piedmont was divided, where instead the governor Cirio has already announced that teaching will be remote also for nursery and primary schools.

Piedmont prohibits the use of areas equipped for games and sports, such as slides, swings, basketball courts, skate areas in public areas and in public parks and gardens throughout the Region

.

The possibility of use by people with disabilities is reserved.

The provision is effective from tomorrow.

Only one person per household in shops and a

"strong recommendation" to prefer home delivery over takeaways

for catering activities.

These are some of the provisions of the new anti-Covid squeeze decided by the Piedmont Region and in force until March 20.

"Access to commercial activities - explains a note - will be allowed to only one component per family unit

(with the exception of the need to bring children, disabled or elderly people with them).

TUSCANY

- Tuscany for another week in the orange zone, but with red zones the province of Pistoia and the municipalities of Cecina (Livorno) and Castellina Marittima (Pisa): this was

announced by the president of the Region, Eugenio Giani, speaking with reporters on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Emergency School Prevention Committee (Ceps) held to decide on the measures on schools.

"Minister Speranza - said Giani - called me a little while ago to inform me that from the data, ours is an orange zone, which remains for this week. There is an addendum, that is a provincial red zone, which is that of the province of Pistoia ".

ABRUZZO

- In Abruzzo nursery and infant schools and barbers, hairdressers and beauty centers will continue to be open also in the so-called local red areas established by the Region.

The president, Marco Marsilio, is in fact about to sign a new ordinance extending the major restrictions for certain areas, but the measures and prohibitions will be listed in the provision and reference will no longer be made to the rules contained in the Dpcm.

In fact, the major restrictions represent a tightening of the measures envisaged for the orange zone, in which Abruzzo is located.

The most restricted zone will no longer be called 'red'.

The Abruzzo governor is thinking of the reopening of schools on the 15th.

VENETO - "We are in the orange zone, the minister confirmed it to me and I can tell"

.

This was announced by the president of Veneto Luca Zaia.

"And the figure that 'shoots' us in orange - he added - is an example of the speed of the virus".

"

FRIULI VG-

From Monday all of Friuli Venezia Giulia will be in the orange zone ". Governor Massimiliano Fedriga anticipated this, stating that he had learned informally from Minister Speranza. The transition from yellow to orange, Fedriga explained, is not due to the Rt as much as "to the sudden and conspicuous increase in infections" in the

EMILIA ROMAGNA

Region

- "At the moment we have many cases of disease in progress, about 8,500 people who are followed at home, but just under a thousand are in our hospitals, which is an impressive number , never seen before, and what scares us is the speed of spread of the infection, which has increased by almost 50% compared to before ".

This was stated by the director general of the ASL of Bologna

, Paolo Bordon, during an interview to the local broadcaster Etv.

CALABRIA - Schools closed in Calabria starting from Monday and for two weeks

.

It is the decision of the acting president of the Calabria Region Nino Spirlì who this morning, during the meeting of the crisis unit for Covid-19, underlined the need to suspend teaching in presence in all schools of order and grade and in university.

The provision will be ratified by a specific ordinance, which will be in effect from Monday and for two weeks.

Face-to-face teaching will be allowed only in cases of severe student disabilities and for a limited number of hours.

Spirlì urged a decisive intervention to stem the variations.

SARDINIA

- Three alternatives, all characterized by obligation,

for those who intend to enter Sardinia starting from Monday 8 March

and are not already vaccinated or have not undergone a molecular swab with negative results at least 48 hours before departure.

This is foreseen by the draft of the ordinance that the president of the Sardinian region Christian Solinas should adopt in the next few hours.

The first: go to the dedicated areas in ports and airports to undergo a rapid antigenic swab Second: take the test within 48 hours of arrival in a public or private accredited facility at your own expense.

Third: go into quarantine for ten days.

UMBRIA -

Umbria has been confirmed in the 'orange' range for Covid risk by the Ministry of Health.

The Region has therefore issued a new ordinance, valid until 21 March (except for anticipated changes based on the change in the epidemiological situation) which is in line with the new Dpcm and which confirms some of the measures already in place.

"From the confrontation with the Cts, and having heard the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza - explained the president of the Region Donatella Tesei - we have identified a series of calibrated restrictions based on the spread of the infection. It is evident that in this type of ordinance the health opinion it has a certain influence and that the will is to inspire administrative action to the principle of maximum precaution in order to ensure the mitigation of the contagion ".

Among the changes, compared to the previous ordinance, the adjustment to the Dpcm for the curfew time in the whole regional territory, which will be from 22 to 5 the following day, also in order to facilitate - explains Palazzo Donini - the services of takeaway, and the possibility in the province of Terni alone to hold individual course activities in presence.
