A 22-year-old girl was allegedly attacked and raped this morning shortly after 7.30 in the Villa Gordiani park, on the outskirts of Rome.
The 22-year-old told police that while she was running in the park she was attacked from behind by a man who, after covering her mouth with his hand, abused her.
The girl was taken to the hospital for the investigation of the case.
The Rome Mobile Squad is investigating the matter.
